- This is a LaserPro GX 60 Watt laser engraver by GCC with a Synrad metal tube. This machine has an engraving area of 38x24 inches in extended mode or 36x24 in standard mode. Part size can be 40" wide 7" deep and by any length when pass thru doors are used. The machine can do both Vector cutting & Raster engraving without any special software. The machine has standard functions like rubber stamp, 3d, Black & White and 16 colors where you can manually set power, speed, air assist, if you need to defocus and whither you want the machine to auto focus before engraving/cutting the part. Plus if you have a color that you don’t want acted on you can disable so there is less work in Corel. All parameters can be changed on machine before running. A rotatory attachment is available from GCC. Parameter screen shots are available on request. A couple of features that improve machine thru-put and less wear &-tear on the machine is the ability to set the starting point anywhere in the engraving area both for Vector or Raster jobs. There is no measuring needed, just place your part in the engraving space, drag the lens to the spot and in the setup for the job choose Relative or Center. This is really great for non-rectangular parts or running a job on scrap piece. The resolution range is from 125 to 1000 dpi. The machine has less 300 hours total run time and looks almost like new. There are a couple of minor scuff marks on the Plexiglas lid and the bottom of the Auto focus housing is scorched but the Auto focus works fine. Servicing the machine is easy with the top flipped open.
